Routeco win Distributor Ecosystem award!

Following our success in securing the Distributor of the Year (North Region) award in 2024, Routeco has once again been recognised by Rockwell Automation for their outstanding contributions to the PartnerNetwork™ ecosystem. This time, at the annual EMEA PartnerNetwork™ Awards held in Istanbul, Türkiye on February 25th, we proudly received the Distributor Ecosystem Award.

This accolade in the Distributor Ecosystem Award category highlights Routeco's exceptional ability in fostering collaboration and driving collective growth within the Rockwell Automation partner network. This award specifically recognises partners who understand the importance of optimising cooperation across the entire ecosystem – bringing together distributors, system integrators (SIs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and technology partners to cultivate new business opportunities, attract new customers, and ultimately fuel even greater mutual success.

A big factor in winning this award is attributed to the success of Routeco Live. This series of events was praised as an outstanding example of how to effectively bring together SIs, OEMs, and End User alongside Rockwell Automation and their technology partners. The four UK-based Routeco Live events in 2024 served as a dynamic platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and showcasing cutting-edge technologies.

This year's Routeco Live saw an impressive turnout, attracting 15% more visitors than in 2022, demonstrating its growing value to the industrial automation community.

The commitment to fostering a strong ecosystem was further exemplified by the introduction of new exhibitors. This year welcomed Softing and AMCI, both exhibiting in the UK for the first time, bringing the total number of exhibitors to 22. 

Beyond the immediate impact of the events, we also demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainability and community engagement. Recognising the environmental impact of transporting equipment across the UK, we proactively consolidated the equipment for seven exhibitors onto a single lorry. This not only streamlined logistics but also significantly reduced their carbon footprint. We also invested in carbon offsetting the lorry's delivery routes.

To encourage customer participation and give back to the local communities hosting the events, we made donations to four local charities: St Ann’s Hospice, Alzheimer’s Society, health for all and St Helena Hospice.
